BIO

Born and raised in Berkeley, CA, Molly Kruse is a country/Americana artist who splits her time between Nashville and Los Angeles. She fuses country, folk, pop and Americana with poignant, cutting lyrics, can't-get-it-out-of-your-head melodies, and gorgeous, roots-y harmonies. After writing for most of 2021 with 8x #1 hit songwriter, Steve Seskin [“Grown Men Don’t Cry” (Tim McGraw), “Don’t Laugh at Me” [Mark Wills)], Kruse chose Grammy-nominated, Andrija Tokic, to produce her sophomore effort out of his shotgun-house-cum-studio, The Bomb Shelter. Her new 4-song EP, Out of My Hands, features some of the genre’s most accomplished touring and session players; Ellen Angelico (Molly Tuttle, Cam, Delta Rae), “Little” Jack Lawrence (Loretta Lynn, The Raconteurs, The Greenhornes) and Billy Contreras (George Jones, Bela Fleck, Hank Williams III) are only a few names that round out the star-studded roster.  Having garnered accolades and write-ups from such esteemed publications as No Depression and Gas Mask Magazine, Kruse regularly performs across the United States.

(Sounds like: Dolly Parton, Kacey Musgraves, Sierra Ferrell, Joni Mitchell, Reba McEntire)

Away from the celebrity spotlight of what we laughingly call the music industry - disposable pop with its bland shopping mall beat and faceless landfill indie... Ms. Kruse offers us something authentic... Molly Kruse is not only the real deal; she is the real deal made over for the modern audience. Perfect.
— Dave Franklin, "Dancing About Architecture"
Molly Kruse is a country singer and songwriter from California you want to keep your eyes on. She’s worked with producer Andrija Tokic, known for his work with John R. Miller, Melissa Carper, and many others. Her latest single “Monsters” is really good.
— "Saving Country Music"
A highly unique take on folk, the song has an ornate, nearly mystical quality... Quite all-encompassing, everything simply stuns. The polished pop perfection works wonders, as the instrumental richness adds to the colorful quality of the piece... On “Ruby”, Molly Kruse proves to be a deft singer-songwriter, creating a mysterious world with such ease.
— Max Winter, "Skope Magazine"
